Computer Freezing While Playing Games Or Browsing On The Internet.?

Hello everyone. My computer has been freezing up ever since October of 2007 to now. Before October of 2007, it has not froze up once while browsing Internet or playing games. When it started to freeze up, I tried a registry cleaner. So I restarted my computer, and it still froze while I was playing games or on the internet. Why Is My Computer So Slow? [when I Play Online Games]?

When I play games online (dota and hon to be exact) my computer gets really slow. I put all the graphics and settings to low otherwise it’d be worse. It gets really laggy and pixelated.
